Banner QA Tool
Jonathan Cipriano and I had worked on a couple different version of a “Banner QA Tool” for the QA Team at our place of work. We had been through a couple different versions but have come to a (hopefully) final version. If anything there will be slight changes. But it’s really nice.
It’s a RubyGem that you run from a terminal, or dos command. The working directory you run it in should contain swf’s. It generates some static HTML files that allow you to embed the swf’s, set flashvars on them, and it also generates a summary report that runs against an excel sheet which defines specs about the banner, like K size, flash version, etc. It’s very handy and speeds up the QA process.
