New Server, SVN Repositories Are Down
I had to move everything over to a new server. The transition was fairly painless. Just a simple DNS change and it was fine. However I haven’t put the SVN repositories back up yet, as I am going to move them all over to git. So in case anyone out there is actually listening. This is just a heads up. I’ll try to have the git replacements up in a couple days.
Oh by the way, a friend recommended slice host for the server, and they run a very, very competitive service. So that’s where everything is now. I had free dedicated hosting from Lunarpages but they decided not to renew their sponsorship. Oh well, it was a sweet (free) two year ride.

I’m Listening. ;) I’m pretty sure I just fell in love with Guttershark today. Best framework suited for my needs I’ve come across so far. I do have a question though, will these git replacements update the framework to what is currently in the online api doc? I’ve just noticed that the online doc and the one included in repo were different. And I really cant wait for the classes in the online version. Thats it! Thanks for Guttershark!
Hey Mike,
Thanks for checking out guttershark. Generally I try not to commit the docs into the repository. The latest ones are at codeendeavor.com/gsdocs/. If there were docs in the repo I apologize, that would be confusing. If you have the svn repo, the latest is in branches/development. And yes, as soon as I get the git replacements up everything will be at the latest code/docs.
Let me know if you run into any problems as I’m making the switch. I will have the git repos up in a day or two.

Just another note. Whatever is in trunk of the svn repo is dated. It’s not too far off from what is in the development branch but there are noticeable differences.

Thanks Aaron.
I don’t see a branches/development folder anywhere. Could I have messed something up with the svn download? Im new to svn and I may have done something wrong on my end. Ill just wait until the repos are back up for download again and get a fresh start. Maybe everything will show up then.
Thanks again Aaron!
Great framework! Have you no intention of replacing the SVN repositories? What is the advantage of git? Thanks!

Thanks. It is a great framemwork. In my opinion, git is better all around. You really just have to use it to understand it’s superiority. And, no, I won’t be putting svn repos back online.
